Thom Lightshard is the Light Mage, and the leader of the council. He is a friendly, outdoorsy person, who was trained at the Light Mage's house in source. He has a calm presence, which counteracts the other mages and sooths the group tensions. He, of course, has a hidden past that is eventually revealed. Brown haired and blue eyed, he has clear sighted views, and often puts things to right with a single word.

Ceri Fireyes is the Fire Mage from source. She was burned in a fire when she was a child, and is still a little touchy about the subject of her scars. She has long dark hair, and dark eyes, which coupled with her pale skin and scars gives her an etheral look. She is sometimes vicious, and angry - part of the firey basis for her magic. She dislikes the nobility, as she feels they abuse their position and don't do enough for the poor on their lands.

David Watergate is the Water Mage from the riverside village of Watergate. He is still new to the role, and is adjusting to the responsibilities of carrying the mage staff. He is a quiet, helpful lad, and shys away from conflict with the other mages. Beneath his quiet persona, he has a potential for strength and courage, which will play an important role as the dark forces calling them together unravel the differences between the mages, and their sinister counterparts.

Hardalf Stormbird is the Air Mage from the mountain capital of source. He seems impressive and somber with his dark hair and eyes. In truth, he is the joker of the group when it calls him to be, and he often turns harsh comments away by making a mischievious joke. He commands respect, and many people listen to his quiet words of wisdom.

Nicholas of Ravensguild is the Earth Mage from the region of Ravensguild. He is a ranger, and often vanishes for times into the wilderness. He contains a deep sorrow and anger at himself, and he refuses his powers on principle. But when the council require his presence, he agrees to once more don the responsibility. He is a great friend of Thom, and trusts deeply in his judgement. He also has a secret, that shrouds his being in mystery.
